Terms
Effective August 2026
These terms govern your use of SkillDoc. By using the product, you agree to use it responsibly and understand that its career and AI outputs are decision-support tools, not guarantees.
1. The product
SkillDoc provides candidate-side career intelligence tools, including skill evidence, career planning, job-posting analysis, task-impact analysis, labor-market information, prompts, and optional AI-assisted outputs. The product is evolving, and features may be added, changed, limited, or removed.
2. Your account
Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and notify SkillDoc if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account. Google Sign-In, when available, is an optional way to authenticate or link an identity; your use of Google services also remains subject to Google's terms.
3. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, probe or bypass security controls, access another person's account or nonpublic data, submit unlawful or malicious content, automate abusive traffic, or use SkillDoc in a way that infringes another person's rights.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain responsibility for job postings, career information, evidence, and other content you submit. You give SkillDoc permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the features you choose. Do not submit content you lack the right to use.
5. AI and career information
AI-generated analysis and labor-market or career information can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Employer details and job-posting information can also change after SkillDoc processes them. Review source material and use your own judgment before acting. SkillDoc does not guarantee employment, interviews, compensation, career outcomes, or that any skill, certificate, plan, AI analysis, labor-market signal, or recommendation will result in employment. The service is not legal, financial, medical, or professional employment advice.
6. Third-party services and links
SkillDoc relies on service providers and may link to job sites, source materials, or other third-party services. SkillDoc does not control third-party content, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Your dealings with those services are between you and the relevant provider.
7. SkillDoc materials
The product's software, design, branding, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal right to use the service as provided; they do not transfer ownership of SkillDoc materials or permit you to copy, resell, or exploit the service outside its intended use.
8. Availability and changes
SkillDoc is an early-stage product. It may experience interruptions, errors, data loss, provider outages, or feature changes. Access may be limited or suspended when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or product operations.
9. Ending use
You may stop using SkillDoc at any time. SkillDoc may suspend or terminate access for material misuse, security risk, or violations of these terms. Product controls may let you delete selected records or reset supported career-workspace data; authentication-account deletion is not currently represented by those controls.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility
SkillDoc is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, SkillDoc disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes and contact
